Overview

High concept

Metal Madness is a game where the player builds deadly theme park rides to destroy robots that are trying to take over the island’s base while simultaneously building friendly rides for human visitors of the park and preventing them from going onto the rides.

“Elevator Pitch”

Hello. I am Sam and my game is called Metal Madness, a Tower Defense game about creating deadly theme park rides to destroy invading robots.

Genre

The game is a tower defense genre, but also contains elements from the Construction and Management simulation genre.

Purpose

The purpose of my game is to combine the construction and simulation elements of games such as Rollercoaster Tycoon and Theme Park with the strategic planning that comes with Tower Defense games such as Bloons TD.

Niche

I am hoping that the game appeals to fans of construction and simulation games as well as those who like Tower Defense games.

Message/Impact

I want to give the player the thrills of theme parks while also managing one and using that to protect your base in a tower-defense scenario.

Vibes

I want the player to feel a variety of things while they play this game. I want it to be a thrilling and exciting experience where the player makes wise but quick decisions on where to place down theme park rides.
