Gameplay Loop

Experience

The game takes place in a 2D top-down perspective. The player can move around the game area, and who can select on empty slots in the world to build rides, and on existing rides to upgrade them.

At the start of each level, the player will have a small budget to spend on a few rides, and at the start of each round, the player can spend money on rides or spend XP to upgrade existing rides. The player starts each wave by pressing the corresponding “Spawn wave” button, in which robots are spawned into the game.

The aim is to get the robots to enter the deadly rides. The deadly rides have modifications which kill anyone inside it. For example, the helter-skelter has a drop from a high distance which will cause the patrons to fall to their deaths, and the Devil’s Wheel, while spinning fast, has a ball with spikes attached to the roof of the ride which swings around. The player gains XP and money when they successfully destroys robots from the deadly rides. The player can then use the money to build more rides and XP to upgrade rides at the start of the next round.
