I’m Yiran Yang, you can also call me Celia.
I am a person with a wide range of interests, and I like all kinds of ways to express, which is why I learned to make animations by myself, I also love psychology. They makes me feel very interesting to analyze a character’s behavior through these skills.
I love painting and creating characters, I created many original characters outside the project. I like to describe the psychology of characters, and the characters revealed by their background stories and behavior habits.
design philosophy
I like all kinds of games, but I prefer those that are casual and free to create. And I found that my families are also very interested in it. This is also the reason why I choose to design a game with a high degree of freedom of creation and exploration.
After carefully observed my mother, a designer, I found that she is always very interested in games with free creation and free exploration like Tilt brush(a VR painting game), and Animal Crossing(a island developing game that can use the decoration to develop your island)
And I noticed that my mother would find way to skip the complicated preliminary process. Directly enter the middle and late stage of free creation or free exploring. But in the process of exploration, every time she gets something new, she will be very surprised. So I collected many collectiable elements in the game.
At the same time, my target group is over 14 year old, Including my current age group, Our generation grew up surrounded by animation and game works, Will pour their emotions into the role. So while ensuring that they are interested in exploring, I also hope that players will feel The characters they facing are alive.
So I referred to some social systems in classic games like Animal Crossing. I hope that when players communicate with those NPCs, they can feel like they become more and more familiar, and get encouragement from them.
