You will only start with the most basic set of painting tools at the start of the game.However, you can find different metarials in this game to expand your painting tools. The collected paints and brushes, and canvas will not be consumed.
Raw matarials– Need to process before you make them a painting tool
- Ore:
- Most of them can be found in the forest, a few need to buy in the store, or you will recive them when you are familiar enough with the residents.
- It can be used to make paints.
- Plants, seeds:
- You can get grown-up plants and seeds from the forest, or you can buy seeds from the seed shop in town and grown them yourself.
- If you have a good relationship with the owner of the seed shop, he may give you some spicial seeds you can’t find by collecting in wild or buying it.
- Plants can be processed to make other things. Such as dried flowers and paintings.
Painting tools– What you can use for artworks?
- Brush/stamp– basic tools for drawing
- You can buy ready-made brushes from a shop, or collect materials in the forest and make them yourself.
- Paintings:
- You can make new paints by looking for ores and plants in the forest, or you can buy ready-made paints in stores.
- Some special paints may be sold in the shop. For example, paints with special luster or two-color paints.
- Canvas
- The material of canvas is not limited to paper.
- You can buy paper and cloth with different texture from the store as canvas, or you can choose to go out and explore town and forest to find other metarials that can be used as canvas.
- For example, you can use leaves you found in the forest
- Collage material
- It is the material that you can paste directly on the canvas.
- There are many materials that can do this, such as feathers and dried flowers.
The same item may have different functions on different occasions.
For example, you can use leaves as collage materials, you can also paint on leaves, or you can use it as a stamp. At the same time, leaves are also a processing material, and you can use them to process leave veins.

Painting– Selling
Because there’s a function of buying things in town in game. Players need a way to earn money. So I use two ways: buyer and order in the game for players to make money through painting.
- Orders: Draw according requests from the residents – (Drawing according to themes)
- Buyers: Sell your paintings to the art sellers – (Sell your free drawing work to the art seller)
The pricing methods of these two sales models are slightly different:
Orders:
- Basic compensation
- this part is the minimum amount you can get after accepting paintings that has nothing to do with the residents’ requirements.
- The paintings you submit to the order will be accepted by the residents as long as they are not blank.
- This part may be much lower than the target price in residents’ requests.
- Keywords
- Different painting tools and color will all have different keywords.
- When the player uses enough tools that match the keywords in the order, you can get the full amount of this part.
- This part of the money will be added to the previous part, so if this part is full, the total price price may be slightly higher than the price on the request.
- Personal Habits – Extra Bonus!
- Unlike the first two parts, this part is the price settled separately.
- Different characters will have their own favorite colors or elements.
- This part residents will give you based on commission when your works fits the personal preferences of residents.
In the above calculation process, the score of the order itself is Basic compensation and Keywords，personal Habits will only slightly increase the score of the work.
After the player submits the work,NPCs will select the paintings with the highest scores from the received paintings and decorate them in its own home or shop.
Buyers:
- Buy or Not?
- Some art sellers may even refused to buy players’ paintings if they are not satisfied enough.
- Personal Habits – Main
- The price you will get for art sellers is their own preferences.
- Different art sellers can give different prices, but price given by the art sellers is generally higher than price on residents’ request.
- Painting buyers’ clothes may indicate their favorite color matching style
- If you have a good relationship with them, they may also reveal their element preferences during the conversation.
- Fashion
- There will be hidden keywords during festivals or other special dates.
- When the player’s creative works fit the description of these keywords, the painter will add extra “fashion fees”.
