I got a lot of inspiration from the fact that the game No Man’s Sky.
One of his major characteristics is to create an empty and grand scene through various sound effects.
Its musical structure is not complicated, but it can give people a kind of extremely lonely and deep feeling. This feeling of no man’s land is what we need for our games too.
BGM1–Title screen
Whole Music:

This is the music I made for our title screen, I added a lot of short sounds and echoes to it to build a grand and ethereal sense of the universe.
And other voices are illusory, in addition to the main melody, which also represents that the protagonist needs to rely on his own ability to absorb survivors in this world and finally survive. Those holes are both helpless and represent the infinite development potential of the protagonist in the future.
Break down+Analysis:

Upward short note: These impressions have a rhythm similar to the twinkling of stars, and at the same time, because it is composed of countless groups of rising notes, it will give a kind of sense of floating and rising. These are also the main tone of this piece of music.

Cosmic echo: This is the effect I formed by stacking ethereal sound effects, because according to the plot, the protagonist’s family has lost other dependence on the earth and can only live on their own, so I want to create one without it.The helpless background sound of the core.

I tried to create a feeling of endless sandy wasteland through this music, the protagonist is almost a camp built on a ruin, where there is almost no human habitation except sand, Although there may be other survivors passing by, the ordinary lives of the characters are basically boring and repetition most of the time.

Empty background sound: I’m not only here to add sound that makes people feel empty, but also the influence that can make people feel nervous and sad, this feeling of pulling and struggling is also inA disturbing feeling that you often feel in the early stage of survive in a wasteland.
Main melody: This passage sounds peaceful and dreamy alone, but once it is added with the background sound, it will create a kind of loneliness. Like a spark in the desert. It not only shows the lonely situation of the family, but also shows that as long as there are people living, their will be hope.
