Completed tasks from Week 2

This was Izzy’s first concept for the café interior. When she showed us it Paula suggested to have lighter linework instead of black to add more depth.

This is the second concept Izzy made to fit the feedback that was given to her. We all thought this one looked a lot more fitting.

Izzy began creating concepts, focusing on the tasks given out in Week 2 and this is what she achieved by this week!

With the bedroom she started off by making a few thumbnails to see what perspective we leaned more towards. All of us preferred the third version so we stuck with this perspective.

When Izzy finished the first version of the café background, I (Maja) designed first option screen and UI iterations.

UI Mockups

Paula created her first iteration of Yami, however she felt like it didn’t portray his personality so she will be changing the design on this.

Before adding some of the draft assets Izzy and Paula created, I (Jessie) decided to make a test run of some of the narrative Izzy had written just to see if it runs smoothly.
Once I had tested to see if the narrative ran smoothly I then went ahead and test ran one of the optional choices.

The options showed up which was great for my first time using Ren’Py, however when an option was chosen an error occured.

This is because the code wasn’t indented properly.

This is the corrected version which then allowed it to work!
