As the new week began, we each took on our assignments, using the time to dive deeply into our projects while collaborating to refine and enhance our ideas. I dedicated myself to meticulously drawing each item related to our game, and to keep my spirits high, I listened to some of my favourite upbeat music in the background.
Later that week, I embarked on a quest to find music apps specifically designed to help me produce atmospheric horror tunes, as I wanted to create an immersive soundscape for the game. In class, we delved into the importance of mapping our tasks and learned valuable methods for setting realistic target dates. This knowledge proved essential for achieving our collective goals. Motivated by our discussions, I set aside an entire month to focus on creating the various game elements while working steadily on the music composition throughout the semester.
Building on the lessons from the previous week, we took the opportunity to explore how to leverage our strengths and piece everything together cohesively and effectively. During this process, I recognised some underlying weaknesses within our group, particularly concerning communication skills and team collaboration. To address this, we created a chart to visualise these aspects, which gave me valuable insights into our group dynamics and how we could present ourselves as a unified team. This realisation marked a significant shift for me, as I learned the importance of confronting potential issues head-on and fostering a more profound understanding among team members. One of my biggest challenges throughout this process has been managing my time effectively. However, I gradually understood that by working diligently and staying organised, I could meet our objectives without feeling overwhelmed.
As the week progressed, I continued to refine my drawings, focusing on the details and ensuring they aligned with our overall vision. Meanwhile, the rest of the group awaited the final pieces to progress toward our next milestone, eager to see how everything would come together.
