Key elements of Ingrid’s character:
- Player’s sister-in-law
- Decisive, down-to-business, and stubborn
- Calm and collected
- Reserved but will speak her mind without fear of repercussions
- A master of her craft (a brilliant engineer)
- Will leave Earth as it only reminds her of what she has lost

Ingrid’s character design was one of the easier ones in making it obvious what her job was in the camp. Since she’s an engineer, she’s always wearing her jumpsuit, so it was just a matter of finding ways to make her uniform more personalised and interesting.
For her colour palette, I decided to stick with synthetic colours in the GDD: blue and black, as it displays how she isn’t bound to Earth and her desire to leave at the end of the game.
