I wanted to expand more on each date ideas I had and what I imagined them to look like.
Date 1 – Cafe
The first date is in a mermaid-inspired café, where I used bright pastels and tried to include eye-catching touches such as jellyfish lighting and clam-style couches.
Why mermaid-inspired café
Violets enjoys looking at cute things, especially with her friends, which is why she initially agreed and planned to meet her friend in the new mermaid-inspired café and also because I recently rewatched Ponyo.
Date 2 – Restaurant
The second is a fancy candlelight restaurant; I wanted to go into detail about how I envisioned it would look. This colour palette inspired me.
Date 3 – Going to the park
This isn’t the date, but I wanted to highlight the shift in date atmosphere when you discover Arden’s true personality. When disclosed, I want to make it nighttime, making things feel more ominous and scary.
