I am currently now on week 11 and we did the final playtesting. I’m happy with the overall outcome of the game and how its been developed. Everyone did their part and even with a few bugs in the game everyone who played it seemed to enjoy the overall game experience.
Art and Technical Skills: I have continued to use Aesprite to create my charcaters and animations since I got used using it and believe my designs / overall coloring for pixel art have gotten better.

old goals: The next few weeks I would like to continue develop :
- how to apply knowledge gained from a range of sources toward the development of a personal Game Design Document.
- I can do this by continuing to research and implementing it to my final decision making its clear that it has impacted the final design.
- refine key processes related to different stages of and produce a game
- I can do this by making key points of development of what changed / was kept the same in my design choices.
- confidently use a range of appropriate design and technical skills.
- I can show this my exploring and showing different iterations of my designs.

Areas to improve:
The connection between research and design outcomes could be made more explicit. The research should be refined and synthesized into specific design elements, ensuring clarity in how insights translate into gameplay. More detail is needed in explaining how design choices are applied within the GDD. Additional user testing would provide valuable insights for refining mechanics.
How to improve:
- further exploration and its meaning. Applying the same structured – Connecting research findings—whether from primary sources, secondary analysis, or artistic references—to tangible design decisions in your GDD is crucial.
- it would be helpful to clarify how your research informed its design.
- Does it align with audience preferences or market trends? More experimentations and prototypes should be incorporated into the GDD.
