Anna’s concept sketches and moodbaord :
When seeing Anna’s iterations and mood board of the sword, I decided to begin to making drafts in Aesprite to come up with the final design of the sword and the way of how the protagonist held it.
Quick drafts of the sword :
These were fast sketches of the sword, but I felt they were far too little and instead resembled a dagger. I also was using green gems and trying to retaining the vines and shap from Anna’s earlier sword designs.

Since it was a tie and I thought option three seemed the most heroic, I chose to go with it after speaking with a number of different people over the matter.
