In the dash animation, I wanted to visually show how quickly the protagonist was moving so I added extra details to the sword and cloak. I found the sides easy to do, but the up and down motion was tough because I had to guess how the slash would look from that perspective while still maintaining the ‘quick’ aspect of the animation.
