Pinterest Board:
My very first steps in creating the world was to make a Pinterest board of images that were similar the ones Franek put in his GDD. We took some from his own boards, and added more that we were inspired by. We did this mostly as a team so I could consider everyone’s vision. This Pinterest board will be where we place all visual inspirations, organised in sections for easy reference.
Art Bible:
I read through and made notes on the entire art section of Franek’s GDD, so we wouldn’t miss anything important. I then used this information along with my favourite inspiration photos from the Pinterest board to create an Art Bible, rules and insights for all artists to follow. I added my own notes for a more in depth explanation of each bullet point section. Gabi took notes on the character section of the GDD and added the section for their art style.
