Notes from Formative Feedback
This week we had a formative feedback meeting with Vanissa where we discussed what we have done so far and what we need to do next. Here is the feedback I received:

Game research




Flow chart
I designed this flowchart based on my paper prototype. It is much more detailed, exploring the computer portals, different shop spaces and the world gameplay. Each in-game day will follow this basic structure with the addition of cutscenes and events based on the seasons and storylines.

Creating game pillars
Here is my game pillar development process. I wrote down the most important parts of my game and refined them into four pillars with detailed summaries.


Above are my final pillars. I am really pleased with them and I think they summarise the different gameplay elements really well. They inform the player on the depth and variety of issues and story arcs they will face.
Finalising Game-Loops
Here are my core game loops, I decided I needed two core loops as my gameplay is broken up into two half’s- the floristry gameplay and the world gameplay. I still need to make my Meta loop which will cover the larger goal for gameplay (what do you work towards?).
