Gameworld
Kinetic Panic is set on an Earth in its final throes of corporate takeover. People endlessly mill in and out of glass towers, climbing away from the beautiful green earth below them towards a grey smoggy sky as a matter of necessity. Deep within every single one of them, however, resides something known as Potential Energy, powering their innermost aspirations.
This energy is also what powers all the forces that make up the laws of physics, and its use is presided over by the gods known as the Lords of Physics.
The corporations up top have captured the all-powerful Lord of Creativity (who controls this energy) as a way to harness it for their own gains, and put a powerful shield over the earth to stop the Gods’ intervention, destroyed only by harnessing pure potential energy in powerful beacons. As a plucky young spirit, you are tasked to free the Lord of Creativity and save the people of Earth!

Eta
You play as Eta, one of many spirits that help the Lords of Physics keep the Universe in check. By chance they were trapped on Earth as the Spirit of Creativity was captured, leaving them to be the only hope of saving them.
Lord of Gravity
This is the god that grants you your first ability. Speaking slowly, they are very particular with their words and actions, as they know anything or anyone can fall hard.
While wise and generally good-natured, they do not get along well with the Lord of Elasticity. However, Gravity’s constant criticisms just seem to bounce off of them.

Lord of Elasticity
This god is by far the most sympathetic to the cause to save Earth, and has an overall bubbly personality. They grant you your second ability.
Their design will be mainly made up of several floating spheres that connect similar to metaballs in Blender, with two eyes on their surface. waves of pure Potential energy consisting of 3 or 4 parallel lines also float and weave between the spheres.

“Well hello there! All the Gods have been speaking about you, it was only fate we’d bump into each other.”
“Y’know, I try to not let a lot of things bother me, given all the things you oversee as a God. But hearing the faint cries of a friend of mine being tortured in there… I can’t just stand by. Take this.”

Presenting a perfectly charming exterior but hiding a fiery temper underneath, this god grants you your third ability.

The Lord of Velocity is a god of very few words, much preferring actions to speak in place of them. They grant you your final ability.
