


Based on the moodboard, I’ve drawn the exterior of the mansion and experimented with different colour versions. Ultimately, I’ve stuck to the most bleak, colourless one painted with cold shades. This concept presents the mansion from the past which in game will be shown during the player’s retrospections. During those flashbacks, the player will be observing the world from the perspective of the killer, which is why I found the cold, chilling colour palette adequate.



Here are some of the interior sketches. The motel will have 10 rooms, plus the hidden chambers which the player will have to find while exploring. Again, the state of the rooms from the sketches will be only present during the retrospections as they are not yet abandoned.
