Week 1
Week 1: Pitching games, choosing projects/groups
This week we started a new project, it was a group work so we were grouped. The game for our group was a cartoon 3D type simulator game: Oh! Rat. As the name suggests, the player will take the role of a rat. After the division of labour, I was assigned to WORLD DESIGNER, a position I was relatively a little more confident in. We also broke down the entire production process of the game, down to the various elements of the game from the player’s perspective.
We started working immediately after a brief exchange of ideas, we first created a flowchart to break down the various components of the game and started dividing up the work based on the first stage of the game’s creation.
