♡Technical Designer♡
As the Technical Designer for Violet’s Dates, my role serves as the bridge between story and code. I take the narrative content (written dialogue and player choices) and bring them to life using a visual novel program called Ren’Py. My job isn’t just to make things work technically, but to make them feel intentional and fun to play (even when the men are jerks).
I handle everything from:
- Scripting dialogue and choices
- Creating scene transitions
- Debugging
- Importing assets
I’ll also be working closely with the mechanic designer (Maja) to bring the underlying systems to life. While I focus on implementing these systems and making sure they function, Maja will be figuring out what these systems will be and how it shapes the player’s experience.
