This is the most developed version of our game so far; however, we still have some bugs and visual errors to address. Below is a list of everything we’ve noted during the playtest and our plans for improvement leading up to our final submission:
The game remains challenging, which is by design as it is a roguelike. We are considering adding controller support, but we may not have enough time to implement it.
Everything checked off on this list includes improvements made after the playtest to help us meet our deadline. As a team, we now feel confident in the gameplay and overall enjoyment of our game. The remaining bugs and work to be done are mostly cosmetic, with only a few gameplay issues outstanding. As the week of the 12th approaches, we believe it is more important to focus on our personal projects, meaning that work on the game will likely conclude here.
In this final stretch, we prioritized fixing as many major bugs as possible while also addressing the less critical, easier-to-fix issues along the way.
