GitHub is a web based platform that enables game developers to store, manage, and collaborate on projects using Git. It is a central hub for version control, collaboration, and project management, making it a powerful tool for software development.
Ross, our tech tutor and support admin, helped E-jay a lot with setting up the Github for our group, which you can find here.
I personally had a lot of issues with using and connecting to the GitHub, mostly with how it interacts with Unity and the file locations of things that I wanted to access.
E-jay and Ayse supported me a lot in figuring out the software to speed up our group work but after around 2-3 days of consitently using the software, I figured out how to use it effectivly if I needed to use it in the future.
