Due to us being on track as a team we’ve started discussing additional parts that we can add onto the game. One being that at the very beginning of Violet’s Dates we had Violet dreaming however it was just a black screen which might make players a bit uninterested so initially myself and Jessie had a conversation about putting an extra environment into that gap to help it feel more engaging for the players. Later on in the week Jessie brought it to the others attention which I will include screenshots below.

From these discussions I got straight onto sketching up two ideas as I wasn’t sure if they would want a more zoomed in frame or one similar to the image I sent over as reference so I did two.
After sending them over the team seemed more inclined towards the second option which I agreed showed of Violet’s bedroom that little bit more and over all just felt better suited.

While waiting for feedback for fun I started to add colour to both drawings just to bring them more to life, I followed the exact same colour palette used for Violet’s Bedroom which will be linked down below.
Again the feedback received was very positive, which was appreciated as at times it was a struggle to get my head around the perspective of the room.

Final Decision
Before I went ahead and confirmed it myself as the final environment I resent over the file to make sure that everyone was happy with it.
From here I was able to send over the file to Paula so she would be able to make a start on Violet lying down
