During crit, my biggest point of weakness so far was that I wasn’t showing how my research and development were connected. They are in two seperate categories in seperate posts on my blog, but not particularly linked in any way. I also wasn’t documentating my development terribly well.
Our team blog was also severely lacking both content-wise and aesthetically, so I set about getting both my and the team’s blog up to scratch. I started linking post between each other to show a clear line of thought, and began to design and write up the team’s blog, checking up on what we’d done week by week by referencing people’s blogs and the GitHub. I also came up with a “dev talks” section for added discussions we’d had over the game’s development about scope and direction.
At the end of the week, I finished the whitebox’s interior. All that was left was the walls, which I had left as placeholders since the walls kept expanding and shrinking so much over the course of its creation.
