The character I want to design is the antagonist – the Watcher of the panopticon who scrutinises every move, that the player will eventually kill. I had 3 principle ideas for this: a standard prison wardon, a TV-headed demon, and a moth creature with false eyes; each embody a certain aspect of my game.

WEAKNESSES– Most “boring” option– Moth + technology don’t necessarily go together
– Too whimsical?
– Like the moth creature, may be too fantastical even in a realistic style

My two strongest contenders were that of the traditional prison warden and the TV-Headed demon. Unfortunately while I liked the idea of false eyes, I just can’t see a moth creature fitting the harsh, cyberpunk environment. And instead of trying to pick between the two finalists, I’m going to try and combine their strengths
