3D Character Artist

My role in the game is a 3D character artist, tasked with creating all characters for our game this will be including rats and humans.

Art Style

The ‘Oh Rats! GDD we are following had a clear idea for an art style for the game, a low poly look similar to ‘Mega Man Legends’.

I went on to do some further research to see some more examples of low poly pixilated models and found this: https://www.models-resource.com/3ds/

A website with all Pokemon 3Ds models, you can even download models ad see the UV maps, which was helpful to see what my workflow should look like later on.

Since are game is going to be low poly I wanna understand what the geometry should look like and how many polygons we are working with.
