Week 2

Game Spaces and World Building

We carried on focusing on coming up with ideas for a GDD and discussed world building techniques for game design. We mostly did this by imagining the possible inhabitants and situation of the game world, for example the politics or order of the world.

At this point I have a rough idea of the theme I want my game to be, I’m thinking of a phycological and philosophical theme based game which can really impact the player. I still didn’t really have a solid idea for my game world or narrative though.
