Week1
At first the communication between the team was relatively silent and most tasks and communication was done through the online platform discord.
Week 2
People began diverting into their own route unsure what the other has done which led to me and others unsure of what to do.
Week 3
Learning unity with Carter basic and how to use github,
Communication problems rising between me and the group’s coder Sam due to me being reliant on his work for working on the game’s puzzles and him not being clear on what he’s working on. attempting to help him. Having a talk with him to be more vocal and allow himself to get help from others, like Parker’s GDD basic prototype and online open source marble games, and asked why he agreed to take on so many roles, and offering to help. However found this type of communication style to effect Sam in a negative manner and over stress him leading to do less work than he did in the past.
Eventually creating bullet points of the tasks he should do and asked him to write it but he said it would be better if I write it for him instead, attempted to write it in simplified form.
Week 4
A week before the prototype we met up again and saw in the prototype what he has done, which was an improvement and saw potential in the mechanic and started creating the level based of of it. the lectures or other students for help if needed. Tasked Sam in improving it and he agreed then followed by I don’t understand what to do.
Week 5
The prototype, a relative success, booking a group meeting with Sophie to work on improving our communication skills.
Week 6
The meeting I believe went well, Sam brought up his points and we made the conclusion to get him to write bullet points of what he should do for the week I am not to add more tasks to it.
