Mad Max captures what postapocalytpic settings are all about probably in the best way. Scarce resources that serve as plot points and personal motivators, haphazardly and precariously contructed vehicles and shelters and the vast, uninhabited land that is contrary to our understading of biodiversity.





I have selected those few frames, to ilustrate my ideas and further establish the world that I would want to build in the project. With kewords such as “dust”, “dunes” and “desolation” I would like to paint a picture of a barren land, devoid of greenry and vegetation. Scarce, mutated fields of reeds, dry and dead patches of high grass would nicely fit as remnants of nature long gone. I would also like to add some toxic wastes, lakes of polluted and dead vegetation and flora.
The world looks like desert with oases of technology and hastily put together shelters. The technical level is low. People both don’t have access to sophistacated technology and most of high level tech did not survive the decline of weather conditions and enviorment distasters. The things that did survive were changed to be independent of the non-existant power grids and all technology that were battery-based and highly durable was deemed the most useful and became the prime element sought after.
