Arcadia GDD

Hi, I’m E-Jay a Games Design and Art student studying at the University of Southampton, this is where I will be documenting the entire process of making my GDD for this semester. It will include weekly logs, research, development and hopefully a lot of other cool interesting things or you to feast your eyes upon.

Hopefully here you’ll be able to witness my growth as an artist, storyteller and overall games developer as I will try my best to push my abilities to their limits in order to learn as much as I can.

My main interests include

  • Storytelling/ writing
  • Games programming/ design
  • Environmental art (3D and 2D)

The Project Brief

‘You will be making a Games Design Document (GDD) of a digital game. This should be included in your blog (WordPress). You should use WordPress for your documentation and for submitting your GDD.’

Included: A comprehensive GDD with mini art bible, mini world bible, mini narrative bible, mini sound bible, writing samples, zoomed-out gameplay design,
and basic platform specification.
