Formative Feedback
This week is feedback week! I showed Vanissa my game idea and we wrote down some ideas on improving my game. Here is some of the feedback I received.
- Conflict between characters (How to show)
- Checkpoints between levels are not highlighted on the map
- Maybe a Rat view? (special perk, between first person and third)
- How do Rats make decisions?
- Different levels of fear, fear levels for each character
- Different motivations for characters: hunger, thirst etc, will all lead to the same thing (going into a human house)
- What happens at the end? How do you achieve safety? What is safe?
- What are the Game Pillars? (Fear Levels of characters, Households, POV of Rat, Safety)
- Aesthetic, Mechanics, etc
I will be working over the next couple of weeks on how to improve and implement these ideas into my game.
