Monday

This week was the start of teamwork week! By week 3, we are supposed to be focusing on recognising our strengths and weaknesses within our groups as we’ve had a few weeks to settle into our group. I’ll answer the questions posed above down here:
- I like working with people, and I don’t have a preference between people and quiet. I value both working alone so I can focus on a set task and with my teammates so I can gather new perspectives about the game and consider other things to add to my designs.
- My strengths are the creative side: 3D modelling, Art, and Music. I love the process of creating things that are meaningful and that people enjoy seeing.
- I tend to overthink my art and what I need to do, so I need to learn to just do what I need to do and ask for feedback from my teammates to know if I’m on the right track.
- I like face-to-face or text-based communication on Discord (which is what my team has been doing, wahoo!)

Thursday
On Thursday, we had a debriefing session with Sophie. My main sprints for this week are 3D modelling and experimentation with styles.
Sophie said I should probably ask for feedback but I didn’t see the need to ask for any yet as I haven’t made any significant progress, and I’m not making up original characters.
What I need to do this week is:
- Create the first draft of Eta’s 3D design.
- I need to do another playtest of Sam’s unity build.
- Document my 2D art and 3D processes of making Eta
Playtest
I also playtested the newest iteration of Sam’s build. He added a few changes that I wanted to give feedback on.
