How to pitch a GDD…
The way you pitch your GDD is very important for how your game is perceived. A good pitch involves a clear overview, as well as sections of your GDD that show the intended vision of your game.
Typical sections of a GDD
- Overview
- Gameplay
- Story
- Art
- Mechanics
- Levels
- Sound
- Platform Specs & Control Mapping

Thursday Presentations. . .
On Thursday, we did mini-presentations of our games. I presented the blog in its current state. Just from presenting, I realised a few of the plot holes in the game that I still haven’t figured out.
A few questions I received:
- What is the motivation to stay/move along houses?
- What type of UI would the game have and how would the mechanics be represented?
