I want my main focus to be on Narrative Design, as I have an idea of how the story will happen. I want the player to be able to follow along as your character becomes resilient to everything that happens in the story and evolves as a character. I chose narrative specifically because it could make the player emphasise and relate to your character, and encourage you to keep playing and make unique choices that lead to different outcomes. Ideally, your choices would lead to different outcomes. | I want my minor focus to be on honing the Mechanics. While not a major focus, mechanics is still a heavily important part of the game that I have to consider. Actions such as jumping, swimming, chewing, climbing and even pooping as a way of navigating the world. I want there to be needs that you are required to relieve, such as waste (which might alert enemies to your presence) so you need to strategically use this mechanic. |
