This week was yet again another round of playtesting for Kinetic Panic. These playtests are important as they provide us the opportunity to get valuable feedback from potential players of our game whilst the game itself is still in development. This allows us to identify areas of improvement and make necessary changes based on what the players might want or need. It gives us a more informed direction moving forwards.

One consistent feedback for improvement for our game was with the camera. Almost every person that tested our game found the camera to be overly sensitive and hard to control.
Overall the feedback received shows us that players generally enjoy the core mechanics, artstyle and design of our game. However a consistent issue was effective player guidance and communication. Several players mentioned difficulty or confusion navigating the game at first. People either need more introductory guidance or a tutorial for the core gameplay. Another frequent issue addressed was the camera for the game, with it being hard to control and sporadic.
