Game loop made in week 6

The game is all about delegating tasks and choosing responses to the events in order to gather resources and choosing the path in the narrative that we desire the most. There is no “good” path, they are different with different prerequisites.

Management side: The game is divided into weeks. For every week the player makes decisions concerning the production and management of resources within the camp. Once players decide what the camp will dedicate their time to, they choose which survivors from the camp will be assigned to do what. Every person will have a different impact on the task depending on their skillset.

Chosen narrative structure for vertical slice

Narrative side: All events are Narrative scripted events that will push the story forward alongside the task of gathering a required amount of resources while maintaining survival. The events will have meaningful choices to steer the player in one of the three endgames scenarios. Throughout the game, the camp will suffer universal problems such as bandit attacks, defectors or food crisis to deal with, all trying to test the managerial skills.
